This is the Chocolate Milk Stout extract kit by Brewer's Best, with some bonus features. In addition to racking to secondary on Cacao nibs, 2 vanilla beans and strawberry extract were added as well. IIRC, Saugatuck's Neapolitan Milk Stout was the inspiration for this beer. WARNING: I haven't confirmed this yet, but there is a very good chance for volcanic activity when opening this beer. Make sure you have a proper foam collection device handy.

No volcanic activity here, but was over carbonated, Interesting beer but a little too sweet for my taste. Definitely had a Neapolitan feel to it though Add Attachment

This wasn't a gusher for me, but was overcarbonated. This isn't what I usually go for in a beer -- fruit, vanilla and chocolate added? But I found it to be surprisingly drinkable & enjoyable. The strawberry came through in a big way for me but with just a hint of the vanilla & cocoa nibs. Very smooth & easy to drink -- the stout character itself wasn't too robust so some of the additions could be detected.
Nice job!

I also didn't have a gusher, but there was an overabundance of carbonation. At first, this beer was a bit overwhelming for me. There are a lot of flavors and aromas at play in there. But as it warmed up and the head dissipated, the neapolitan character really came out. The strawberry was much more present than the vanilla and chocolate, but all were certainly there. Though not really what I normally look for, I enjoyed this one quite a bit. Thanks!

I'll be damned if this doesn't actually taste like Neapolitan ice cream.
The strawberry is the strongest of all the flavors, although perhaps no surprise, but each aspect definitely gets its due along the way.
Such an original beer! Really glad I got to try this. Thanks for sharing this one!

Not a gusher, but a huge rocky head when poured. The sharpness of the carbonation plus the slight tartness from the strawberry give this beer quite a bite. It's a but much for me, and leaves a sort of filmy aftertaste in my mouth. Not a bad beer, just has a lot going on which makes it difficult to decipher. No strong or obvious off-flavors, just a lot of competing flavors in general.

I agree with Chris on the aftertaste, I could have used a bit more chocolate malt so the roast would cover up a, what I would describe as cough syrup like after taste. I think with a few tweaks (maybe another pod of vanilla and steeping some chocolate malt before the boil) and I could drink a few of these. I got quite a bit of sediment in the glass as well, try cold crashing the carboy before bottling with this recipe. --Jesse

My bottle was heavily carbonated, not a gusher but loads of head. The strawberry definitely initially dominated the aroma/flavor, but the vanilla and cocoa are also there. Possibly with a lower carbonation and dialing back the strawberry somewhat it might be a bit better balanced. Interesting idea though. Thanks for sharing!

Very interesting. Holy cow it tastes exactly like Neapolitan ice cream (considering it's not a flavor I'm a fan of, I may actually like this beer better!). There's a bit too much strawberry for me, but overall, I did enjoy a glass of this (split it with hubby). Thanks!
